This year, I will join a group of local runners participating in various running events as a means of raising money and awareness for Centre Volunteers in Medicine.  This Run for CVIM Challenge, known in previous years as Marathoners for Medicine, has grown from a single person running the Boston Marathon and collecting money in support of his run, to a group of about 30 runners who run several different marathons in support of CVIM.  This year, we are opening this up to, not just marathoners, but to all local runners in an effort to make a larger impact for CVIM.

Please help me raise funds and awareness for CVIM.


CVIM is a free clinic providing medical and dental care, medication assistance, case management services, and behavioral health services to the thousands living or working in Centre County without healthcare coverage.  CVIM receives no federal or state money and only limited funding from the county.  Over 95% of CVIM's budget comes from the community - Every gift is critical!


 
My sights are set on a June 19 race that will challenge me to dig deep, and I'm all in to do that for CVIM!

My secret weapons for training have been 6 a.m. track workouts once a week and weekend runs with speedier people.

The June 19 race is the Eager Seeger Half Marathon, an event I created because this forest is so breathtakingly scenic. Please power me along past my goal of raising $1,000 for CVIM. You rock!
