CVIM Cycling for Care is a non-competitive scenic bike route set up for all levels of cyclists. Routes include a Metric Century (62 miles) and Half-Metric Century (31 miles) ride. All loops begin and end at Fairbrook United Methodist Church. There is course support and water/refreshment stations for both routes. Lunch will also be provided at the end of the coarse by Jersey Mike's Subs.
Proceeds from the ride benefit Centre Volunteers in Medicine. CVIM provides medical and dental care, case management and necessary medications at no cost to qualified underinsured residents of Centre County.
Riders are asked to raise donations for CVIM, but are not required to do so. All riders who do raise money above their registration fee will be entered into a drawing for fabulous prizes (to be announced). To qualify for the raffle, all donations must be received on or before June 30, 2012. This year riders can track their donations online. Information for doing this will be sent to all riders upon registration.
