Doug Schunk's Story
A few years ago, the thought of walking any distance was a foreign concept to me. Running anywhere, unless I was being chased, was completely out of the question. But after losing over 140 lbs. through new eating habits, exercising, and running, I am thrilled that I am now able to help others in need.
On May 1st, I will be running the Pittsburgh Marathon for Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM). While I have some personal goals for the race, knowing that I will be helping others in our community get the medical assistance they need will make each step that much more meaningful.
Please join me in the fundraising effort for CVIM.
