CVIM is monitoring the current COVID-19 situation very closely. We are following the guidelines set by
the Center for Disease Control, and following their recommendations, have postponed our Cornhole
Classic event that was scheduled for April 25, 2020. We do not know what may transpire in the coming
months but rest assured we will not put anyone in harm's way. This is a very fluid situation and changes
are being made to the CDC guidelines daily.
We are working with the Centre and our sponsors on rescheduling the event. Several good ideas have
been presented and we are following up on those. We are still planning to have a quality, family-
Dealing with COVID-19 has presented some challenges, but Centre Volunteers in Medicine remains open
and we are continuing serving those in our county who do not have healthcare insurance.
Of course, we will keep you updated with any changes. Thank you for your understanding and patience
as we all work through this difficult time. Right now, the best thing you can do is stay home, wash your
hands, and make an online donation to Centre Volunteers in Medicine. We urgently need all the
support we can get.
